So, it’s finally here, an online windows operating system. A long time coming, I think. This will be a subscription service just like Office 365. So, this will now become a permanent revenue for Microsoft.
So having a Cloud window 10/11 operating system available means that you can access your online PC from almost any device and with any operating system of your choice.
This should be a welcome solution for schools who will not have the burden and extra costs of keeping systems up-to date. They will be able to use lower spec computers helping to reduce the cost and lengthen the long-term longevity of older computers.
Small and large businesses will also benefit from this subscription model. When they have staff increases or decreases then they will just setup an extra online Cloud PC. This will also be more advantageous to home office staff as they will use their own computer and will not have to consider incompatibility issues.
